Out of the Mouth of Babes Comes Praise
A journey of faith, family, and natural care. Psalm 8:2 reminds us that God can ordain strength out of the mouth of babes. For me, Soma Nika Natural Products began to take form when my grandson, Azariah, was born.
Five years ago, I resigned from my job so I could stand beside my daughter during her pregnancy journey. After her delivery, our home entered a season of adjustment. The days that followed were not always the easiest, and I found myself prayer more and looking for natural ways to help create a calmer, more peaceful atmosphere for our family.
After doing research, I purchased a few essential oils to use in our diffusers: rosemary, peppermint, lavender, Palo Santo, and orange. As we used them, I noticed that our home felt calmer and more relaxed. Those small moments of peace helped create more pleasant family moments, and something began to stir in me.
That experience became the beginning of a greater journey.
I started creating lotions, scented body butters, and other personal care products using carefully selected oils, butters, essential oils, and fragrances. My desire was simple: to create products that felt comforting, nourishing, and made with love.
Before long, I began sharing them with friends and family. Their response encouraged me to continue. What started as a personal family journey slowly grew into Soma Nika Natural Products.
Today, Soma Nika represents faith, family, care, and purpose. Many of our finished products are handmade with natural ingredients and love. Please note that items such as essential oils, fragrance oils, carrier oils, and natural butters are carefully sourced rather than handmade.
Soma Nika is more than a product line. It is part of my journey with my daughter, my grandson, and my family. It is a reminder that beauty, healing, comfort, and purpose can grow from the most unexpected seasons.
